About Dr. Sanjay Vaghani

Dr. Sanjay Vaghani is a DM interventional cardiologist with more than 14 years of experience, with a particular focus on complex coronary interventions. Practising in Surat since 2014, Dr. Vaghani served as Director of the Cardiology Department at P.P. Savani Heart Institute for over 12 years, and now leads Swastham Heart Institute.

After MBBS and MD (Medicine) at B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, Dr. Vaghani completed DM (Cardiology) at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology, Ahmedabad, while also serving there as Assistant Professor of Cardiology. Advanced training followed with a fellowship in complex coronary intervention at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea.

The aim is authentic, evidence-based interventional cardiology care at a reasonable cost — with uncompromising quality and equitable care for every patient in our community.
